Why did you get into family law/law?

I am committed to creating and supporting dynamics that represent a source of strength, relief, and positivity to everyone involved, and I find that that’s possible in the environment of law.

What is your favorite part of working in family law?

Although my immersion in family law is quite recent and still at the beginning stages, as someone with a background in Linguistics I enjoy greatly the fact that ‘communication’, in all its glory, is the pillar of constructive relationships– and everything else parts from there.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

Outside of work, you can find me hiking in the mountains, running at the track, reconnecting on my Yoga mat, reading poetry in Spanish, or playing with my Chocolate Lab.

What is your favorite type of case to work on or type of client to work with?

Ensuring empathetic and clear communication with clients, regardless of their case, is my favorite part of work.

Where did you go to school?

I’ve studied and worked in Mexico City and Monterrey (Mexico), Aberdeen (Scotland), Miami and Chicago (U.S.A.), and now in Mesa at the Grand Canyon State. I had never been to Arizona before, and I am aware that it’s known to be desert-like, but I like to think that that only means there are beautiful sunrises and sunsets over here.

Shortly after my graduation from the University of Florida, Go Gators!, with a B.A. in Linguistics, I began my professional journey with internships in the world of corporate law and, then, environmental law.
