About Samuel
Samuel Kahl is a dedicated law student practitioner at Modern Law with a passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives. Before joining Modern Law, Samuel interned with a state legislator in Illinois during college, gaining invaluable experience in legislative processes and constituent services. After his first year of law school, he further honed his legal skills at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in the vehicular division and participated in the post-conviction clinic at ASU, providing him with a solid foundation in legal practice.
Samuel hails from Southeast Wisconsin and has a close-knit family, including his siblings Molly, Grace, and Luke, and their two springer spaniels, Charley and Bounce. He attended Northern Illinois University before moving to Phoenix to pursue his law degree at ASU. Outside of his legal pursuits, Samuel enjoys watching and playing sports, especially basketball, and is a regular at Diamondbacks games. He also has a love for movies, reading (with “Dune” being a favorite), playing board games, and engaging in fantasy sports for MLB, NBA, and NFL.
Samuel chose family law for its profound impact on individuals’ lives. He is driven by the opportunity to help people navigate the most personal and significant aspects of their lives, believing that family law allows him to make a meaningful difference on an interpersonal level.
