If you weren't in the legal profession, what would your alternative career be?

If I was not a lawyer, I would want to be involved in the theater in some way - performer, backstage crew, business office - just something involved in theater.

Which fictional lawyer or legal character do you resonate with the most? Why?

This is a bit of a cheat because she is not a lawyer but it is Jo March from Little Women if she were one.

If you could have a legal-themed superpower, what would it be and why?

Instant due diligence. The ability to instantly scan and comprehend every single relevant detail in any legal document, contract, case file, or deal — including buried clauses, footnotes, red flags, inconsistencies, and legal precedents. You don’t just read it, you know it.

If you could create a new law, what would it be and why?

That divorcing parents have to work together and put the best interests of their children first instead of their own feelings. The law currently says the best interests of children are paramount but I would want the parents to have to set their own feelings aside and determine what their children really want and how they feel and not what the parents want.
