If you weren't in the legal profession, what would your alternative career be?

If I weren’t in the legal profession, I would likely channel my creativity and eye for detail into a career as a professional home designer or architect—fields where precision, vision, and functionality come together to create spaces that truly serve people’s lives.

Which fictional lawyer or legal character do you resonate with the most? Why?

If I had to pick a fictional lawyer I relate to, it would be Mickey Haller—the Lincoln Lawyer--I love that book! I admire how Mickey uses his street smarts, quick thinking and legal know-how to fight for his clients. He makes a genuine connection with his clients and goes the extra mile for them.

If you could have a legal-themed superpower, what would it be and why?

So much time in family law is spent going back and forth trying to determine what's fair, what is best for the children and trying to balance everyone's needs. I wish I could just snap my fingers and instantly reveal the most equitable and workable solution for everyone involved.

If you could create a new law, what would it be and why?

If I could create a new law, it would prohibit Congress from exempting itself from the legislation it passes. Laws should apply equally to all citizens, including the lawmakers who create them. This kind of legislation would ensure transparency and equal treatment under the law.
