A first-generation Arizona native and the first in her family to hold a professional degree, Nicole brings academic excellence, genuine empathy, and early hands-on experience to her work at Modern Law.
She graduated summa cum laude twice from ASU, earned her J.D. from ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, and has worked in family law settings since her undergraduate years. For Nicole, this work has never been abstract.

Which fictional lawyer or legal character do you resonate with the most? Why?
Elle Woods. Kind but fierce, fun but intelligent. Her college sorority superlative was “Most Likely to be the Next Elle Woods.”
If you could create a new law, what would it be and why?
She would expand access to affordable legal representation for families who fall between qualifying for legal aid and being able to afford private counsel, because family law decisions have lasting consequences, and everyone deserves meaningful access to counsel.
If you could have a legal-themed superpower, what would it be and why?
Eidetic memory. Law is detail-oriented, and being able to hold every fact, document, and precedent perfectly would be the ultimate edge.
