Jasmine Morris
Paralegal
Journey to Family Law
Jasmine Morris found her passion for family law after witnessing loved ones struggle through the complexities of the family court system. This experience fueled her desire to learn everything she could about family law, statutes, and court procedures so she could help others navigate these challenges with confidence.
Her career in family law began nearly four years ago as an Administrative Assistant. Within a year, she advanced to a Legal Assistant role and soon after transitioned into paralegal work. Jasmine’s favorite part of family law is helping families find resolution—whether it’s bringing them together or assisting clients in freeing themselves from toxic situations. She takes pride in being a source of support and guidance during some of the most difficult times in a person’s life.
Education
Jasmine’s strong foundation in law and justice began with her academic achievements:
- Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice – University of Missouri, St. Louis (2020)
- Paralegal Certificate – University of Arizona (2021)
- Notary Public, State of Arizona (2023)

Life Beyond the Law
Outside of work, Jasmine’s life is full of love, energy, and adventure. She is a devoted wife and mother to four children (two daughters, ages 8 and 10, and two sons, ages 15 and 4 months), as well as two beloved bonus daughters (ages 15 and 17). Her days are spent embracing her many roles as a cheer mom, dance mom, sports mom, and band mom. Whether she’s chauffeuring kids to activities, cooking meals for her family, or being their strongest advocate, Jasmine takes pride in creating a warm and loving home.
In her free time, she enjoys reading novels, listening to music to unwind, and practicing yoga to stay centered. Family gatherings with her siblings and their children are some of her favorite moments, whether it’s for birthdays, holidays, or just a spontaneous get-together. Jasmine also has a love for traveling, sightseeing, and indulging in brunch with friends. She’s an avid fan of legal dramas like Suits, The Lincoln Lawyer, and How to Get Away with Murder, which keep her inspired and engaged in the legal world.
A Life-Changing Experience
Jasmine’s perspective on life was profoundly transformed in 2016 when she faced a near-death experience. After the birth of her youngest daughter, she suddenly fell ill, losing a month and a half of her life in a coma. Misdiagnosed multiple times, it wasn’t until she developed seizures and encephalitis that doctors discovered the true cause—a rare teratoma tumor that nearly took her life.
Waking up from her coma, Jasmine saw life through a completely new lens. She had to rediscover who she was and where she wanted to be. Through meditation, prayer, and deep introspection, she found the strength to move forward with purpose. Her biggest motivation throughout this journey was her husband and children, who stood by her side through it all.
Growing up as a military child, Jasmine had always dreamed of becoming a JAG in the Air Force but lacked the support system to pursue that path. Her life-altering experience reminded her that she only had one life to live, and she was determined to spend it doing what she was passionate about—helping others through the legal system.

Her firsthand understanding of the struggles families face in court allows her to be a compassionate advocate while maintaining a sharp legal mind. She believes that every client deserves to be heard, supported, and empowered, and she works tirelessly to ensure they receive the best possible outcome.
