Journey to Family Law

Carrie Gremard brings deep empathy, insight, and a strong sense of purpose to her work in family law. With firsthand experience navigating the family court system and a background working within it, Carrie understands just how overwhelming and emotionally charged legal matters can be. That understanding fuels her commitment to making a meaningful difference for the clients she serves.

Carrie chose family law because she believes in helping people during life’s most challenging moments. Her goal is simple but powerful: to ease the legal burden so families can focus on what truly matters—healing, stability, and moving forward. Her calm, knowledgeable presence offers clients reassurance during uncertain times, and she is known for being both detail-oriented and deeply compassionate.

Education

Carrie is a lifelong learner who brings both academic and practical excellence to her legal work. Her educational journey reflects her dedication to deepening her legal expertise and staying on the cutting edge of the profession:

  • Associate’s Degree – Pennsylvania State University, 2020

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Pennsylvania State University, 2022

  • Master’s Degree in Legal Studies (LP) – Arizona State University, Graduating May 2025

Carrie’s pursuit of knowledge doesn’t stop there—she plans to continue her education by enrolling in a Doctorate in Law and Policy program in Fall 2025.

What It’s Like to Work with Carrie

Working with Carrie means having a steady, supportive professional by your side. She is known for being knowledgeable, approachable, and responsive. Carrie prioritizes client communication and works hard to make sure people feel heard, understood, and empowered. Whether she’s walking someone through a difficult filing or helping them understand the next steps in their case, Carrie is always focused on reducing stress and building trust.

Clients consistently describe her as someone who listens with care, communicates clearly, and brings both warmth and professionalism to every interaction. She aims to be a calming force amid chaos and a trusted guide through the complexities of the legal system.

Life Beyond the Law

Outside of the office, Carrie’s heart belongs to rescue dogs—particularly seniors and those labeled “unadoptable.” She works closely with a local rescue group and has made it her mission to provide loving homes for senior dogs in need. Currently, she shares her home with her retired husband and a lively pack of pups, including Missy (18), Paris (14), Lucille (15), and Pop Tart, a blind poodle mix she calls her heart dog. Also part of the furry family are Shenzi, Bella, Petie, Oliver, and Barkley. While they don’t always get along, Carrie wouldn’t have it any other way.

In addition to being a full-time dog mom, Carrie is a fan of psychological thrillers—especially ones with shocking twists—and an avid supporter of the Arizona Diamondbacks and college football. She also has a background in libraries and once considered a career in librarianship, thanks to her love for books and helping her community. When she’s not working, reading, or cuddling pups, she’s likely enjoying a game or continuing her educational journey.

If Not Law, Then…

Carrie’s alternate career path would have been librarianship—a field she explored for several years. Her love for reading and passion for helping others made it a natural fit. While she ultimately chose law, she brings the same curiosity, empathy, and commitment to service into her legal career that she once offered in the stacks.
