If you weren't in the legal profession, what would your alternative career be?
I likely still would’ve found my way to Wealth Management had I stuck to Accounting, due to my love of numbers and helping people.
Which fictional lawyer or legal character do you resonate with the most? Why?
Olivia Pope – a supremely confident, single, female firm owner who demands excellence from colleagues, she is precise, fantastic at what she does, and at the end of the day has a genuine desire to help people who come to her at their absolute lowest points in life.
If you could create a new law, what would it be and why?
Prohibition on campaign financing at all levels of government so money is removed entirely from the government election equation.
If you could have a legal-themed superpower, what would it be and why?
Mind reading of sorts – the ability to see a person’s true intent/goal/objective at any given time. This would allow me to: 1) Draft better estate planning documents that accurately encapsulate my clients’ planning objectives; and 2)Better advise clients in trust administration conflicts to reach mutually-acceptable solutions.
