Why Clients Love Megan:
Beginning her life’s journey in New Orleans, Megan’s small town upbringing gifted her with an introspective view of close-knit, family and community connections. As a product of divorce, she learned at an early age that a divorce can be a traumatic event for all parties, including children. She watched her mother fight through three attempts at a happy marriage, each seemingly worse than the last. Learning quickly from her mother’s relationships, she learned how to forgive and move forward, but to say she had a manual for “Men with Red Flags” would be an understatement. She used those hurdles to avoid abusive and belittling people, which allowed her to finally meet her husband. Together they have an extremely solid bond and approach life as a team.
Finding Family Law
While she thoroughly enjoys Community Property cases, Megan’s favorite part about her job is her clients. Being an advocate while having the opportunity for them to thrive post divorce is one of the most fulfilling parts of her job. Megan has 21 years in legal experience, 11 years in Family Law experience, and 6 years in Forensic Accounting in Divorces. In 2021, she became a Certified Divorce Analyst. In her free time, she enjoys watching her children play sports, advance through the ranks of Girl Scouts and making family memories that she’ll be able to cherish forever.
